Background:
We would like to take this time and thank you for visiting our website. iHostFree.com has been around since 1996 originally name "Host Free Sites Group". We were made up of 6 friends with not only diverse backgrounds but also diverse trades. We had hardware engineers, software engineers, web designers, and hosting gurus. 

Over the years we have been helping individuals and small businesses with their hosting solutions and at times even their networking issues. We began offering free hosting with a space of 30 MB and 3 GB of bandwidth a month. 

We were not only happy to do so but dedicated to keep it going. Most of the operating cost was paid by our own pocket and donations made by people who were happy with the free service. 

Unlike other Free Web Hosting Providers. We offered true free web hosting with no pop-ups, advertisement, or hidden fee's. But, a few years back we began having to stop new customer signups and cutting our monthly bandwidth to 1 GB a month. Mostly because of the cost and the fact the Core Group was facing financial hardship. With our employers cut backs and other financial situations. 

The Merger:
At the beginning of  2004 we began making plans to move our current hosting customers to other providers and began accepting the fact that our service will be going down.

We were blessed by Moriboy / GarageCoLocation.com. They offered to take our current customers but made a surprising offering. The also wanted to take the concept under their wing.

So on July 26th 2004 we were acquired by Moriboy. Although Moriboy / GarageCoLocation.com took ownership of the "Host Free Sites Group" they spun the concept to what has become iHostFree.com and upgraded the free offering to be a really good hosting package. 

Donations:
One of many ways keep iHostFree.com going is to let people know about it. With the acquisition, iHostFree.com now has the reassurance of being here tomorrow and the next day after. 

But, one of the best ways is simply have a link on your site leading back to GarageCoLocation.com or registering your domain from with in the IbizPanel. Any little payment you generate will assure that Moriboy / GarageCoLocation.com will remain interested in keeping this project around. 

We no longer accept donations or anonymous investment funds. Any financial help must come through as a 3.00 Hosting Plan being purchase or Domain Name Registration.
